Amey Dahanukar
FOUNDER & DIRECTOR

After completing his Masters in Urban Design, in the UK in 2009, Amey set up ARA design in the year 2010. Started as a small boutique firm with a team of 3 architects, the firm has grown into a team of 54 - with Architect, Planners, Interior designer and Project Managers offering services from Architecture design, Interior design and Project Management.

Amey’s design has dominance of modern and contemporary art and style that is diligently integrated with site and location context. His versatile space design and flair in art enables him to meticulously develop designs from inside out creating synergistic functional spaces with an exuberantly dominant character to space. From master plan to furniture design; every element of the design interacts harmoniously thereby attaining sustainability.

Mr. Avinash Dahanukar is our mentor and senior most Architect in the otherwise young ARA Design team. He has over 40 years of experience and is an alumnus from JJ College of Architecture. He is also the founder partner of Dahanukar Associates, our sister concern that specialises in turnkey projects. Mr. Dahanukar has been a faculty at various colleges in Mumbai such as Academy Of Architecture, Late Bhausaheb Hiray College of Architecture, 

In his sterling career of 40 years, he has completed numerous projects with professionalism, integrity and dedication. His body of work comprises projects ranging from factories, bungalows, high rises and master planning. 

His hard work, attention to detail and focus is what inspires us each day. We are fortunate to have such a guiding force as a mentor within us, pushing us to better ourselves and strive for success every day.
